Minety a small quite rural village with pub walks and a quiet cycle route. Minety is a village in North Wiltshire, between Malmesbury (6 miles to the west) and Swindon. It takes its name from the water mint plant found growing in ditches around the village.

Trapped in-between the towns of Malmesbury and Cricklade, Malmesbury is a market town and civil parish in the southern Cotswolds in the county of Wiltshire whereas Cricklade is a small Cotswold town and civil parish on the River Thames in north Wiltshire, midway between Swindon and Cirencester. It is the first town on the Thames as it flows towards London.
