Gloucestershire District Association of The Camping and Caravanning Club was formed in 1963 over 50 years ago. We are more commonly called Glosda or The Glosters.
Its continued success and vitality is a testament to its current membership and committee and to past members and committees who dedicated themselves to ensuring that the DA continued to flourish. Each year the DA organises more than 30 sites throughout the year and 4 Temporary Holiday Sites. These meets are enjoyed by members who live local to Gloucestershire and by visitors who come from all over the country.
There are no requirements for camping with Glosda other than being a member of The Camping and Caravanning Club. Tent, caravan and motorhome owners of all ages and from all backgrounds enjoy camping with us. Some of the current members started as babies with their parents and now bring their own children and grandchildren camping with them. The oldest regular camper is over 80 and the youngest regular is only 4.
