Nestled in the heart of Wiltshire, our Devizes Club Site is a quiet secluded campsite by the Avon and Kennet Canal.
Home to some of the world’s most significant prehistoric sites, including Stonehenge and Avebury Stone Circle, the Wiltshire countryside is ideal for avid walkers and cyclists.
Campers can expect a children’s play area, playing field and a large field for dogs.
From the campsite, walk or cycle into Devizes via the scenic Caen Hill flight of locks. Alternatively, take a 5-minute walk to the bus stop to catch a bus to Devizes, Melksham, Bath or Bristol.
With weekly markets and an 11th century Norman castle, Devizes is a bustling market town with a fascinating history. Take a tour through the brewing process at Wadworth Brewery, where Shire horses have delivered beer to local inns for over 125 years.
Situated by the canal, the Kennet and Avon Canal Trust Museum exhibits the fascinating story of this delightful waterway. Further afield, immerse yourself within 900 acres, among lions, tigers and monkeys at Longleat.
There are few better ways to explore the local countryside than by bicycle. Why not join the Avon Tow Path towards Bradford on Avon? Alternatively, hire a bike in Bradford-on-Avon and cycle into the beautiful city of Bath.
