This is a new site for us another quiet site with riverside walks on the outer horse shoe bank of the River Severn. The commercial site sits next to the rally field. Nearby is the village of Newnham on Severn, Blakeney, and Lydney. The Parish comprises an area bounded by the River Severn, the Blackpool, Soudley and Bideford brooks. Encompassed within these boundaries are the villages of Awre, Blakeney and the hamlets of Etloe, Gatcombe, Two Bridges and Viney Hill – 86% of the population being in and around Blakeney village as this is on the main A48 road leading from Chepstow to Gloucester.

This is an area of astounding beauty being part of the Royal Forest of Dean, seeing large numbers of tourists every year, all with diverse interests. The area has much to offer its visitors, virtually anything from historic information to leisure activities, the area has something for all.

For more information on the area please use the link to the Forest of Dean Community website where you can find information specific to Awre, Blakeney and Gatcombe villages as well as a wealth of other information about the Royal Forest of Dean.
